My work has always been bound to the world of images — to seeing, sensing, and shaping what cannot always be spoken. I often picture my creations one day entering the space of M+, not simply as part of a collection, but as part of a quiet correction — a rethinking of what belongs, what is remembered, what is left behind.

For me, however, the meaning lies not in whether my work is ever shown or preserved there, but in what its existence asks of me —

Why does it exist?

What does it correct — within me, or within the world?

Perhaps these unreachable dreams and endless desires are what keep me moving, creating — even if, in the end, my hands hold nothing but air...

M+, as Hong Kong’s first museum of contemporary visual culture, is devoted to collecting, exhibiting, and interpreting the visual arts, design and architecture, moving images, and the visual culture of Hong Kong across the twentieth and twenty-first centuries. It stands both close and distant — a mirror, or perhaps a correction, of who I am, and who I wish to be...

我的工作與視覺圖形和藝術有關,也曾想像過,有一天自己的作品能進入 M+ 的空間;不只是作為一件被收藏的作品,而是成為一種靜默的修正—— 對於「作品去向」、「誰會記得那個作品」、「誰的作品被遺落」的反思。

對我而言,其意義並不在於我的作品是否最終會被展示或保存,而在於它的存在向我提出的追問——

它為何存在?

它在修正什麼?是在我內在的裂縫,還是在世界的縫隙之中?

甚或遙不可達的夢想和無止境的欲望,或到最後手中只是握著空氣......

作為香港第一間當代視覺文化博物館,致力於收藏,展示與詮釋二十 及二十一世紀的視覺藝術、設計及建築、流動影像,以及香港視覺文化,究竟M+與我的關係是何干......
